		<description>I think the guy was obviously missing the point. Both SEO and social media are important tools in increasing traffic to websites. You can&#039;t just rely on one or the other. 

It also really depends on what the website is. If you are talking a blog, then yes, social media promotion is probably the way to go. But if this is a business website and you are providing a product/service, then SEO is really going to help drive traffic to your site. 

Bottom line is, trying to focus on one or the other is probably not the best choice. To echo you point, &#039;why can&#039;t we all just get along...&#039;</description>
